קָלַף(cmp. גָּלַף) to scrape, peel, pare. Pes.VII, 2 (75b) יִקְלוֹף את מקומו (Bab. ed. יְקַלֵּף) let him pare off the place where it touched the wall of the stove. Ib. 3 יקלוף את החיצון let him pare off the surface. Tosef.Neg.VI, 8 היה קוֹלֵףוכ׳ he scraped off the sand (cement) between one stone and another; a. fr.Part. pass. קָלוּף; f. קְלוּפָה Nidd.17a שום ק׳ … וביצה ק׳וכ׳ peeled garlic, peeled onions or peeled eggs … which were let lie over night.
